Reviews & Press
Full Circle is a collection of songs of the very highest calibre, which has rarely been far from the Cullen CD player since I received it. I am happy to report that this CD got a 0 skip rating on my player... quite rare I can assure you! Nick, Linda and Ben can be justifiably proud of Full Circle and if you haven't already done so, raid the piggy bank, contact the band and get a copy... 'cos you're not having mine!

I get a lot of albums sent to me from local musicians. There are few times however, when you genuinely think to yourself 'How come this guy hasn't got a major deal?' I'll stick my neck out here though, and say this album from local musician Nick Bold is one of the best, most polished albums I've heard this year (and you can include commercial big label releases in with that)... I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a major deal on the strength of this album... it would be criminal if he didn't.

...standout tracks [on 'Virginia Wolf'] like "Are We Playing With Fire?," "Only Love," and the ballad "It's in Your Eyes" are all muscular, white-denim rockers that revolve around recycled, yet still appealing arena rock riffs.
I always enjoyed working with Nick Bold. He was incredibly prolific. You would leave him in a room for a couple of hours and come back, and he would have four songs ready for you. He was one of those guys that didn't seem to sleep.
Tonight The Nick Bold Band tore Bury Met apart at the seams. Bold's guitar playing was beyond belief, He defyied logic....how could 4 fingers create such a symphonic sound? He must surely have made some kind of pact...'

'As a 3 piece they are virtually re-writing the rules of contempary blues rock bringing fresh ideas and giving the genre a much needed face lift....'

'Nick Bold's writing has matured like a fine wine since his days with AOR rockers Virginia Wolf. He's finally found his true calling still penning excepional melodies intervoven with stunning guitar work backed by the ever steady tightasaducksass rythm section of Linda Jennings on bass and Ben Jackson on drums.Wonderful.....'
